A high school boy is unconscious in hospital after an umbrella that a classmate was swinging in their classroom broke, flying into his left eye, school officials said Saturday.

At around 3:50 p.m. on Friday, a 16-year-old student at private Toin Gakuen High School in Aoba-ku, Yokohama, was swinging around an umbrella like a baseball bat in a classroom when it came loose from its handle, according to the officials, sticking into the victim’s left eye.

The 16-year-old victim was rushed to a hospital where he remains unconscious. Doctors diagnosed him as suffering from brain injuries and damage to his left eyeball.

Freak right? Imagine something poking into your eyes. Gross. I always thought that this kind of things only happen in cartoon like Happy Tree Friends. LOL!

I seriously pity that victim. Because of this he got brain injuries and damage to his left eyeball. Maybe he will suddenly become like Ah Wang? (Ah Wang is a famous retarded character from a Drama from Hong Kong.) Choy! Choy!

I wonder how he will look like even if he manages to recover. Can't imagine...

And why is the other guy swinging his umbrella in the classroom? Is he practising some drill or what? How come he is so 'lucky' to hit the jackpot? Actually I don't know much about this news too.

Read from the comment that there is another case which is about Japanese guy riding his bike home and towing another alongside with his hand, then crashing, and the brake handle somehow wedged itself into his eye socket and poked his brain, so he died.
